The Pneumatic Advantage

Unlike traditional hydraulic or traction elevators, our systems use air pressure differences to move the cabin. It's cleaner, safer, and more energy-efficient.

Vacuum Technology

A turbine at the top creates a partial vacuum above the cab, allowing atmospheric pressure below to gently push the elevator up.

Zero Energy Descent

Going down requires no electricity. A controlled valve releases air, allowing gravity to lower the cabin smoothly and safely.

Inherent Safety

No cables to snap, no oil to leak. In a power outage, the system automatically descends to the lowest floor.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the elevator require a pit or machine room?

No. One of the main advantages of PE Lifts pneumatic elevators is that they are self-supporting. They require no pit, no machine room, and no structural reinforcements.

What happens if the power goes out?

The elevator is equipped with an automatic rescue device (ARD). In the event of a power failure, the cabin will automatically descend to the lowest floor and open the doors using battery backup.

How much maintenance is required?

Pneumatic elevators require significantly less maintenance than traditional lifts because there are no cables, oils, or complex mechanical parts. We recommend an annual service check.

Can it be installed in an existing home?

Absolutely. Since no civil works are needed, our elevators are ideal for retrofitting into existing homes, often installed through a hole cut in the floor or even on a balcony.
